Most of the work happens before the first photograph. Mood boards, a photography timeline built around the light, and a wardrobe plan that gives every look its own moment. The day itself can then unfold without anyone managing it, which is exactly why it ends up looking like a magazine rather than a production.
HOW I DIRECT
Guidance when it elevates.
Observation when it matters
During the ceremony, dinner and the hours with your family, I stop directing. I anticipate, wait, and let it happen. Those photographs cannot be arranged, only recognized.
During portraits I direct. A shift in posture, a hand placed differently, a shoulder turned into the light: small adjustments that change an image completely.

Concept & Mood Boards
We build a visual reference for each part of the weekend: the welcome dinner, the ceremony, the party. The direction is agreed long before anyone picks up a camera.
Timeline & Light
I plan the photography timeline with you and your planner around the light, not around the schedule. Golden hour on a west-facing terrace happens once. We plan for it.
Wardrobe & Looks
Multiple dresses deserve multiple moments. We decide in advance which look belongs to which setting, and how much time each change actually needs.
None of this is preparation for its own sake. It is what allows the photographs to hold up years later, long after the season they were taken in has passed.
